Falkonry wins Phase II innovation research contract from US Air Force

Falkonry LRS will be integrated within Department of Defense analysis platforms

Falkonry, a company that enables predictive operations for companies globally, recently announced that the U.S. Airforce Research Laboratory (AFRL) has granted it the contract for next phase AFWERX Small Business Innovation Research.

Falkonry was awarded the deal after it completed the Phase I evaluation of the company’s machine learning system successfully.

Apparently, Falkonry had explored important operational data problems during Phase I that took place within Air Force community. It was later selected by Joint Warfare Analysis Center of STRATCOM and was permitted to go ahead into Phase II.

The AI-enabled product under Falkonry will be enabling JWAC to interpret huge number of operational data as well as discover patterns and provide real-time interfacing.

According to reports, Falkonry has built an Air Gap Falkonry LRS version of  in order to deliver maximum level of security fulfilling the requirements of the government. A measure for network security, Air Gap has been incorporated in computers to make sure the secured network has been physically isolated from the unsecured ones like a local area network or the public network.

The Department of Defense (DoD) has Falkonry LRS integrated within its analysis platforms and has secured deployment in both unclassified and classified environments. Falkonry has received sole source justification for military contracts and has caused substantial reduction in the administrative load associated with procurement. This is due to the fact that non-data scientists can also use Falkonry LRS.

Nikunj Mehta, CEO and Founder of Falkonry stated that the company will be able to receive military contracts from any one of their branches without sitting through an entire selection and qualification process with other companies.

The sole source justification concept ensures that any customer belonging to the military can use the predictive operations technology in much lesser time and will secure quicker results.
