By Nikita Chaurasia

Milacron Holdings Corp., a technology company known for its services to the plastics processing industry recently announced the signing of a proprietary partnership with iMFLUX, a wholly owned subsidiary of Proctor & Gamble. The distribution agreement is aimed at integrating iMFLUX with Milacron’s injection machine controls with native UI and screens.

Reportedly, Milacron will be the first machine manufacturer that will be offering such a technology that essentially modifies the cavity filling process and transforms the way any machine part is molded. Milacron will own exclusive rights in offering iMFLUX patented processing technologies.

Tom Goeke, the CEO of Milacron has been reported to say that technologies like that of iMPLUX are potential game changers and therefore the entire team at Milacron is quite excited to have signed the distribution agreement with iMPLUX.

He added that Milacron is always on the lookout to seek next gen technologies which can help customers to succeed and that iMPLUX offers technology that can potentially meet this end. According to Goeke, the amalgamation of top class injection machines developed nu Milacron with process innovations offered by iMPLUX will bring in better business for Milacron’s customers.

Mary Wagner, CEO of iMPLUX has been reported to say that iMPLUX is a technology company that aims to achieve next gen technologies. She added that the injection molding process developed by iMPLUX essentially set itself apart in every way from conventional injection molding processes.

Apparently the injection molding process developed by iMPLUX uses low and constant pressure that has created new opportunities for the entire plastic industry. Wagner said that Milacron’s suite of IoT technologies, Milacron M-Powered is perfect to be paired with iMPLUX and that the latter is ready to commence its partnership with the Ohio based company as iMPLUX continues to expand its work to the rest of the plastic industry.

According to reliable sources, the Miacron M-Powered iMPLUX Module is expected to reshape the molding industry. Miacron may choose to include the M-Powered iMPLUX Module in a customer’s machine or can take the option of providing existing Milacron injection molding machine with a retrofit upgrade.
