Dassault to use Proxem’s AI solution to advance 3DEXPERIENCE platform

French software company, Dassault Systèmes has recently revealed plans to enhance its 3DEXPERIENCE platform’s collaborative data science abilities, allowing customers to take advantage of their data patrimony by taking part in new virtual twin experiences that transform critical knowledge in scattered text data to actionable insights and content.

According to reliable sources, the move follows the recent acquisition of Proxem, a privately-held firm that specializes in artificial intelligence-based semantic processing services and software. Dassault Systèmes will combine Proxem’s primary software, Proxem Studio, into the 3DEXPERIENCE solution to balance applications of NETVIBES EXALEAD information intelligence.

This would further boost the portfolio of accessible AI models while augmenting all available and public content into a reusable knowledge graph. The integration of AI with simulation and modeling applications would also allow 3DEXPERIENCE platform users that come from diverse industry verticals to represent and elevate their data.

Users can automate interpretation of knowledge from regulations, requirements, quality & customer feedback, scientific publications, and contracts. This would help them to build a wholesome virtual twin experience.

Effective use of the platform could trigger some unprecedented partnership opportunities encouraging innovation while facilitating execution and planning across the extended business. Moreover, it would pave the way for the development of new solutions from Dassault such as drug development, contract intelligence, and requirements intelligence.

Speaking on the move, Florence Hu-Aubigny, Executive Vice President of R&D, Dassault Systèmes, explained that to be replicable and scalable, AI needs a stable and strong representation model. Proxem’s comprehensive AI-driven automation capabilities and semantic data interpretation would provide new opportunities for the users of 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Virtual twin experiences on 3DEXPERIENCE take AI to the next stage, creating strong levers and revealing information intelligence in new areas. As a result, organizations can elevate their product quality and design to gain a competitive edge over their rivals, claims Hu-Aubigny.
