Intexus-Entrust union extended to Latin America for secure payments

Intexus and Entrust have reportedly announced an expanded partnership aimed at addressing the growing demand for secure and seamless unified payment solutions in Latin America.

Intexus, a prominent provider of trusted identities, payments, and data, will integrate Entrust's Digital Card and Instant Financial Issuance solutions into its Card as a Service (CaaS) application layer. This collaboration aims to empower banks and credit unions in the region to offer unified payment enablement programs efficiently.

Notably, In today's fast-paced world, consumers expect convenient and hassle-free experiences when dealing with their banks. With the current market uncertainties caused by factors such as inflation, conflict, and fraud, financial institutions need to adapt quickly. By prioritizing a unified approach to payments that encompasses both digital and physical cards, financial institutions can gain a competitive advantage and generate more revenue. This approach ensures a seamless experience for customers, from account opening to card issuance and making purchases.

David Rojas, CEO at Intexus, emphasized the importance of simplifying payment enablement for their bank and credit union customers throughout Latin America. By partnering with Entrust, they aim to streamline the process, allowing their clients to focus on building relationships with their cardholders and members.

Tony Ball, the Instance Issuance Senior Vice President and General Manager of Entrust, highlighted the significance of partnering with organizations that can help differentiate the firm from the competition by offering a unified payment card program. He added that Entrust was honored to contribute its financial issuance solutions to power Intexus' offering.

For the record, Intexus specializes in fintech solutions for secure payment methods and data security. Their CaaS solution is a modular platform that facilitates the integration of digital card issuance into existing physical card programs for banks and credit unions.

Combining Intexus technology solution with Entrust's Digital Card and Instant Issuance solutions will enable the firm to provide instant & secure issuance of both digital and physical payment cards from a unified platform.
