UV Angel ties up with Smile One Services, launches new dental products

UV Angel, a company renowned in the field of pathogen control technology, has recently announced that it has partnered with Smile One Services, which is dental service organization (DSO)  based in Michigan. Reportedly, the partnership has been initiated to be able to bring pathogen control products UV Angel Air as well as UV Angel Adapt for all the affiliate dental practices of Smile One Services, including pediatric, orthodontic and adult office practices.

Smile One Services had developed Smile Safety Assurance and had become the very first DSO across the nation to add the UV-C pathogen control tech to the practices so that they help create a healthier and safer environment.

The offices of dentists have been lately considered akin to environments with high risks in the current pandemic. The technology of UV Angel at times such as these is likely to help the affiliate practices cleaner of Smile One Services by having painted a UV-C light treatment tech to continuously and automatically treat the surfaces and air for any harmful bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

UV Angel’s CEO, Tom Byrne said that the company is confident about the quick deployment of ultraviolet light tech in clinical environments such as Smile Dental Partners is very important to protect both the staff and patients. The company is aware that technology can be useful in neutralizing dangerous pathogens in the environment, he says.

The affiliate practices of Smile One Services shall be equipped with the prominent UV Angel tech covering every Smile Dental Partners across Grand Rapids, North Muskegon, Grand Haven and Holland and the Daydreams Procedure Center at Grand Rapids.

The installation has been expected to be finished within four to six weeks. The effort taken is now a part of the new Smile Safety Assurance program of the company that also includes thermal imaging AI-based temperature screening systems as well as reporting and monitoring of every practice based on the cloud of pathogen control.
