Verishop to introduce online digital brands at flagship URW centers

  • They will open 14 full or pop-up stores in the United States
  • Digital brands shall occupy both the inline and the temporary spaces

Verishop, a major online lifestyle-shopping destination and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), a leading global operator and developer of flagship destinations, recently announced that they will be opening about 14 pop-up or full store concepts at key Westfield shopping centers in the United States.

Apparently, Verishop-incubated digitally native vertical brands (DNVBs) will be occupying both the inline and the temporary spaces along with the flexibility to change in case the company chooses to introduce new brands or concepts.

URW’s President, Jean-Marie Tritant stated that Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield happens to be a leader in providing digitally native brands an excellent platform to help promote their businesses in the U.S and Europe. He further added that Verishop will act as a perfect operator that will bring about dynamic experiences in shopping to the customers and will demonstrate the opportunity for DNVBs for the growth of their retail footprint in a strategic and targeted way.

Verishop is an e-commerce platform that brings together the top global brands and provides the fastest free shipping online. The company owns a brand incubator program that helps all the thinkers create digital brands surrounding unique ideas which further fulfills the underserved demand from the consumers.

The first two ideas from the incubator were Ghost Democracy that was created as a collaboration with Rex Chou, the L’Oreal veteran and LETT which is a leisurewear brand created by Justine Liu, a Reformation veteran. These two brands shall be featured in the initial eight of the location in Westfield.

CEO and co-founder of Verishop, Imran Khan stated that LETT and Ghost Democracy had been created with unique identities as well as customer experiences in mind. The company is looking forward to introducing them to Westfield flagship centers.

Khan continued that the goal for Verishop is to help customers find new brands while Westfield’s flexibility and customization of its physical spaces will enhance the discovery experience.
